*New* Tennis Court / Pickleball Rules
Posted on Jun 12th, 2023

American with Disabilities Act (ADA)

Mallard Lakes is a Private Community, which means we do not have to comply with the ADA. If we were required to comply with the ADA, it would cost the community hundreds of thousands of dollars. We have recently become aware of a group of people who are using a phone app to invite non-owners to come and use the tennis courts to play pickleball. This is a violation of our rules, and we could be considered a public community, and forced to comply with the ADA.

Effective Monday, June 12. 2023, the Board of Directors will be installing new locks on both tennis courts. This is a temporary change until this situation is resolved. Owners will be able to get keys from the pool supervisors, by showing their current amenities pass, or a current renters pass. The pool supervisor will open gate and not relinquish the key to the pass holder.

The Board of Directors thanks you for your understanding of this circumstances, which we hope to resolve quickly,
