The committee’s mission is to ensure the community has safe and desirable amenities for our owners and guests. It is also important to maintain our operations and invest in new amenities based on our community interests.
Architectural Review Committee

The Architectural Review Committee was designed to serve at the direction of the Board of directors of Mallard Lakes. We are dedicated to preserving and enhancing the aesthetic integrity, property values, and overall harmony of our community. We strive to uphold the community’s architectural bylaws and standards by reviewing, recommending and monitoring exterior modifications in a fair, consistent and timely manner. Our mission is to ensure that all improvements reflect the quality, character and vision of our neighborhood while fostering a spirit of cooperation and pride among homeowners.

The committee’s mission is to develop, maintain and plan ahead for the financial responsibilities for our community. This includes working with Legum & Norman Management Co and all entities involved in our annual budget (banks, contractors, insurance carriers, investment of reserve funds, etc.) In addition, this committee works closely with the head of our grounds crew.

The committee’s mission is to develop and maintain avenues to communicate effectively with owners, renters and short term guests at Mallard Lakes. Avenues to communicate include the website, newsletter, email, text messaging, bulletin boards, in-person meetings and utilizing the unofficial Facebook page to post information when needed.

The committee’s mission is to plan year round activities for our community. Having fun is what our community is all about and the social committee makes things happen! From annual owners party, Pool Olympics, cornhole tournaments, adult socials, annual food drive, holiday celebrations, DJ’s and bands, and many more activities, this committee is hard at work planning the next event.

- 22 Years of Experience on ML Board, including President, V.P. Secretary & Treasurer (2003).
- Former Facility Supervisor for 28 years.
Stacey Selby, ML Director of Operations
- 33 Years of Experience at Mallard Lakes.
- Responsible for ALL aspects of ML Operations since inception (1992).
- Personally involved in every event cited within this report.
- Extensive relationships with most Delaware State and County Elected and Administrative Officials.

- 40 years of Professional Civil Engineering Experience.
- Specialized in Delaware Transportation Civil Engineering.
